Our Mission is to educate, inspire and provide. We want to help spinal cord injury survivors recreate their dreams, develop their talents and abilities, and to live a full life within their reach.
The Walk and Roll Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons affected by spinal cord injuries (SCI). It is our mission to bring education, services, a variety of programs and assistance to those living with spinal cord injuries. Walk and Roll strives to foster an atmosphere of support and encouragement to SCI survivors and their families. Walk and Roll is currently working in conjunction with ProjectWalk www.projectwalk.org based in Carlsbad, California. Project Walk utilizes The Dardzinski Method of intensive training and education to take the spinal cord injury patient further than the current norm of just how to live and function in a wheelchair. The Dardzinski Method is designed to assist the client in achieving their greatest recovery potential, while providing an overall increase in the quality of life by understanding their injuries and potential. Chelsie and Jon have teamed up this amazing facility to Northern Ca. This is a special goal for Chelsie, Jon, and the Walk and Roll Foundation. Through their travels this past 2 years since Chelsies accident they have met so many people who need, and deserve, this type of therapy. Creating this facility will cater too many living with SCI in Northern California and beyond. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |
